My name is Jenna and I’m a mom and a Pediatrician. My daughter Hailey is 16 months old and has food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome which is also known as FPIES.
At a few weeks old she suffered from reflux and was given regular formula as supplementation. She got really sick from it and threw up 20 or 30 times. She was unable to tolerate her feedings at this point and her pediatrician knew she was reacting to something. That’s when she was diagnosed with FPIES and when her pediatrician recommended Neocate® Syneo®.
Talking with other moms with kids who have FPIES was so enlightening during our journey in understanding how life changing food allergies can be and as a Pediatrician, I now have a much lower threshold to look further when kids are really fussy.
Hailey is now happy and healthy and is able to go to the beach, go out to dinner, and take trips. It’s amazing to see how far she’s come.
